Need help getting a mammogram in Delaware? During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Adriana Viveros-Sosa of the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition (DBCC) joined Matt Ford and Ashley Rice on Good Morning Delaware to talk about breast cancer screening, early detection and the resources that help Delawareans get the care they need.
Why Breast Cancer Screening Matters
Regular screening can help find breast cancer early, often before there are any symptoms. Yet cost, transportation, language barriers or simply not knowing where to start can make scheduling a mammogram feel overwhelming.
That’s where the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition comes in. Since 1991, DBCC has helped Delaware residents and survivors with education, screening support and resources throughout the breast cancer journey.
🩺 Start with a conversation. Talk with your health care provider about your screening schedule, when to start and how often to get a mammogram, especially if breast cancer runs in your family.
