Dover Veterans Day Parade: Honoring Those Who Served

Election Day in Delaware: What’s on the Ballot
Then, Ashley Rice sits down with Dr. Jason Bourke, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Delaware State University, for a timely conversation about Election Day, what Delaware voters will see on the ballot, and some of the races and issues drawing attention across the state.
Delaware’s general election is Tuesday, November 3, and polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Find your polling place through the state’s Voter Portal, or visit the Delaware Department of Elections for sample ballots and candidate lists.
New Kingswood Community Center and Community Day
Later, Kanani Hines Munford, MPA, Director of Annual Giving and Major Gifts for the WRK Group, joins us to discuss the new Kingswood Community Center and the upcoming Community Day on Saturday, November 7.
The 81,000-square-foot center in Wilmington’s Riverside neighborhood is set for a ribbon-cutting and dedication on Friday, November 6, followed by Community Day with an open house and an outdoor block party. The building is home to a Montessori academy, Nemours Children’s Health, a gymnasium, and a fitness center. Kingswood is part of the WRK Group, an alliance of The Warehouse, REACH Riverside, and Kingswood.
